Ten beauty uses for Bio-Oil that go way beyond stretch marks

Long used as a topical stretch mark remedy, Bio-Oil is a do-it-all skins aver that contains a natural, non-clogging blend of calendula, lavender and rosemary oils, as well as chamomile extract and vitamins A and E.

This fantastic oil does everything from held fade dark spots and acne scars, to moisturise all over. Here are my top ten favourite uses!

Ten new ways to use Bio-Oil

#1: In your foundation

Add a tiny bit (mix the combo on the back of your hand) for a more natural look. The oil sheers out the foundation formula so it blends seamlessly into skin.

#2: In your bathwater

Add a few drops to your bathwater to condition your skin. Spa-tastic!

#3: In your bronzer

Mix in just a drop for a dewy glow. Do the same with eyeshadow for a sheer, creamy finish.

#4: Before you shave

Slather it on as a pre-shave treatment to soften skin and prevent nicks.

#5: On your brows

Smooth some on freshly waxed or tweezed brows to soothe skin and reduce redness.

#6: In your shampoo

Dry or itchy scalp? Add a few drops to your shampoo to reduce the flaking and itching.

#7: On dry skin

Massage some into your skin to moisturise dry spots like cracked elbows and heels. It works well on chapped lips and shaggy cuticles too!

#8: On sunburns

Rub it on sunburns to prevent peeling and sooth burned skin.

#9: On split ends

Finger-comb it into your hair to hydrate dry ends and tame pesky fly-aways.

#10: Over a spray tan

Smooth it on all over before you shower to seal in your spray tan.
